The concept design for Big C, one of Thailand’s leading department store brands, focuses on capturing the attention of the new generation by modernizing its app. The refreshed design emphasizes a sleek and contemporary UI/UX that aligns with the expectations of younger, tech-savvy users.

The app is reimagined to offer seamless omnichannel experiences, enabling customers to browse and purchase products effortlessly, anytime and anywhere. Key features include intuitive navigation, personalized recommendations, and integration with digital wallets to enhance accessibility and convenience. By incorporating a vibrant and engaging design language, the app reinforces Big C’s brand identity while appealing to the preferences of its expanding target audience. This modernization ensures the app is not just a shopping platform but a tool for building stronger connections with customers.

The product search functionality is designed to mimic the experience of shopping in a traditional department store by categorizing products based on the layout of physical shelves. This UI/UX design concept allows users to browse products in a familiar structure, making the shopping experience intuitive and engaging.

Users can easily navigate through various categories, much like walking through different sections of a store, and apply filters to refine their selections. This approach enhances discoverability and ensures a seamless, user-friendly experience, ensuring that customers can find and select their desired products with minimal effort, whether they are browsing for specific items or exploring various categories.

The shopping experience is further streamlined by offering users the flexibility to choose between home delivery or in-store pickup at Big C, providing a more efficient, user-centric flow. This UX design enhancement minimizes the time spent on decision-making and accelerates the overall process, making it ideal for customers who need their products quickly.

By integrating both delivery and pickup options seamlessly within the app, users can easily select their preferred method, enhancing convenience and satisfaction. This time-saving feature not only improves user experience but also contributes to increased sales, as customers are more likely to complete purchases when the process is swift and efficient.
